According to NFPA Code 211 all chimneys shall have a
flue liner that can contain and exhaust all by products of combustion including
heat, dangerous gases, creosote and condensation. When the flue liner can no
longer perform this intended purpose it shall be repaired or replaced.
In
most instances this is accomplished by using a metal pipe inserted from the top
of the chimney down to the appliances. Our technicians are trained to know what
type and grade of pipe is best for your chimney's needs. |
